I am a British documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. I grew up in the liberal, artistic city of Brighton and have been living in Tokyo since 2019. I am bilingual in Japanese.
I originally trained as a photographer at UAL: London College of Communications, but quickly moved into working with the moving image.
As a filmmaker I strive to make images that resonate not only from an aesthetic standpoint, but also through an intellectual and emotional curiosity about their subject.
